Since the start of this endeavor, we've been finding ourselves saying things we never thought we'd say. Here are a couple of examples:
Where can we find a sports bar around here? (Nancy)

Last night I dreamt football. I was looking at the field, and all the players were lined up at the side of the field. But instead of being human, all the players were brownies. Like the chocolatey snack. Perfect chocolate cubes of brownies. They even had a creamy chocolate frosting and walnut sprinkles. What does it all mean?

This must represent the decadent football knowledge that I yearn to taste, those chocolatey players taunting me with sweet wisdom I can still only dream about.

today i laughed at a football commentary joke. out loud, by myself. this is one of our goals--to laugh at the jokes that the announcers make to each other that, based on their reactions, are HILARIOUS. granted, the joke i laughed at wasn't during a game, but during a pre-game show. still, I GOT IT!
you're probably wondering what the joke was. they were interviewing a player named Strong, fuck me if i remember what team he was on or what position he played. this Strong guy changed his name to match his desired position, because his given name was something like Cuddly. Then they asked some other players what they would change their name to, if they were to do such a thing. The first few players gave answers such as Quick, Smart, Swift. But the last player replied "Brett Favre". HA!

I watched the Ravens game with Pete yesterday. I envy his passion and devotion. He yelled at the tv. I want to yell at the tv! Nancy and I really need to practice our yelling, shouting, and screaming. Once we master that, we can throw in some couch-jumping and chest-bashing.
